Education
CHRISTIAN
The Christian Education Ministry is that arm of the Church that under girds every ministry within the Church. The vision is to gather the people of God in community, grow them in faith and in the ability to live out their faith in daily life. This faith formation is the life-long, ongoing process by which every Christian, young or old, answers the call to follow Jesus.

The mission of the Christian Education Ministry is to intentionally glorify God, through the power of the Holy Spirit, by nurturing, educating, ministering, and guiding the church community in the teaching, example, and living Word of Christ. Our focus is to prepare each member of Providence for the works of service.

The goal of the Christian Education Ministry is to create an environment that allows our students "To Know Him, and Make Him Known". We accomplish our goal through biblically based curricula and classes marked by excellence.

Children's Church
Participation in worship is one of the important ways children learn and grow in faith and is an integral part of the whole Discipleship Hour. In worship we learn to live with gratitude for the past goodness of God, in joy as we recognize God's continuing presence, and in hope for a future which will bring God's purposes to fulfillment. We learn by participating and discovering our own sense of belonging. Children need opportunities before they become adults to learn not only how we worship, but also to find out what it really means for them.
Teachers Training
The primary philosophy of Providence is to meet the educational needs of the church and the community by providing a structured learning environment, building spiritual intimacy and leadership qualities. Accordingly, we provide Discipleship training for all Discipleship teachers and prospects. Training takes place quarterly and must be completed prior to teaching at Providence.
